I have been trying to enjoy the beauty of my surroundings when out walking our family dog. I had a friend join me on a walk recently and realized that she did not look around at all. It made me reflect that I have found incredibly beautiful things to admire and get pleasure from when walking in a place that you don't associate with being beautiful. I realized that over the years, I have taken a number of photos in back alley's when out walking. They seem to hold a feeling of stillness and fleeting pleasure.
This selection of photo's is available to SWCA members who will be creating inspirations for a potential show called "Back Alley Beauty" . Please click on the image to enlarge.
The following photos are from Wen Kauffman who has graciously agreed to let SWCA members use them for inspiration.
Thank you to Meghana Gauthier for sharing photos for the SWCA group to use.
